Work

Work

I'm a UX Designer who enjoys taking complex problems and turning them into intuitive, user-centred experiences. Over the last three years at Ocado Technology, I've worked across ecommerce, fulfilment, advanced technology, and operational tooling, developing a strong foundation in systems thinking, user research, and cross-functional collaboration. I enjoy getting to the root of a problem, understanding how people work, and designing solutions that balance user needs with business goals.

I believe great design starts with people. Whether that's conducting in-person research, observing users in their environment, or building strong relationships within a team, I enjoy the collaborative side of design just as much as the craft itself. Outside of product work, I've helped shape the design community at Ocado, including creating the branding for our internal UX conference and bringing designers together to share ideas, learn from each other, and celebrate great work.

  • 3D Modeling

I’ve always been drawn to 3D, originally inspired by wanting to work in animation, and it’s something I’ve continued to develop alongside my design work.

I enjoy creating characters and environments, and more recently I’ve been building my own game using assets I’ve created over time.

  • Coding / Vibe Coding

I studied a joint degree of both computer science and media at university, which meant a lot of creative coding!
I've always kept ontop of my coding skills to complement my design career - more recently I've experimented with vibe coding, not only to speed up my design process but to also create my own projects - take a look here!

  • Sketching

I enjoy drawing in my spare time, usually sketching landscapes or anything that catches my eye.

It’s something I find relaxing, but it’s also naturally shaped how I think about composition, detail, and visual balance, which carries through into my design work.

  • Travel

I love to travel and explore new places, whether that’s around the UK or further afield. I enjoy experiencing different environments and cultures, and getting a feel for how people live day to day.

Here are a few moments from my travels.

  • Gaming

I’ve always had a love for gaming, and more recently I’ve started channeling that into building my own projects. Combining that interest with my passion for 3D, I’ve been developing a personal project inspired by what I learned at university.

Here are a few of my favourite games that have shaped how I think about design and interaction.

As the sole UX designer for the product, I led end-to-end design in close collaboration with product managers and engineers. I strengthened delivery by producing clear documentation, prototypes, and UX copy to support development, while driving research and validation to ensure solutions met user needs. This work contributed to a significant increase in product adoption, rising from under 50% to approximately 80–85% across multiple sites.

During a two-year graduate scheme, I worked across cross-functional teams, developing skills in research-led design, iterative problem-solving, and prototyping. I communicated design decisions clearly, built high-fidelity prototypes for testing and handover, and applied best practices in UI design and design systems. I also contributed to team discussions and presented work to support collaboration and alignment.

I studied a joint degree across Computer Science and Media at Royal Holloway, developing a strong foundation in both technical and user-centred design. Alongside modules such as Human-Computer Interaction and User-Centred Design, I focused on applying these skills through practical work.

My final year project involved designing and building a web-based data visualisation exploring plastic waste in the Pacific Ocean, where I took the project from concept through to implementation, combining UX design thinking with full-stack development.
